WIITAD – Women in ITAD is a professional community dedicated to connecting, supporting, and empowering women across the IT Asset Disposition industry. WIITAD brings together women who currently work in ITAD, support the industry through related services, or aspire to build a career within the growing circular technology and asset lifecycle sector. Through professional networking, education, mentorship, leadership opportunities, and industry collaboration, WIITAD aims to create a stronger and more inclusive future for women throughout the global ITAD ecosystem.
WIITAD is a community created exclusively for women working in, supporting, or seeking to become part of the ITAD industry.
Our community welcomes women from all areas of the ITAD ecosystem. Whether you are an experienced industry leader, an emerging professional, or someone exploring opportunities in ITAD, WIITAD provides a welcoming platform where you can connect with peers, exchange ideas, share experiences, and develop meaningful professional relationships.
WIITAD is proudly affiliated with the Global ITAD Alliance (GIA), a collaborative industry association that brings together organizations and stakeholders from across the global ITAD community. GIA membership is not required to participate in WIITAD, allowing women from across the industry to become involved and benefit from the community.
Through this affiliation, WIITAD can expand its visibility, reach a broader audience, and create focused programs and committees that address the interests, opportunities, and challenges facing women in ITAD.

I am proud to introduce WIITAD – Women in ITAD, a community created to connect, support, and empower women across the IT Asset Disposition industry.
Women play an important role in every area of ITAD, from leadership and operations to technology, sustainability, sales, and customer engagement. WIITAD provides a dedicated platform to recognize these contributions while creating opportunities for women to build meaningful connections, share experiences, and grow professionally.
Our goal is to create a welcoming community for women at every stage of their careers. Through mentoring, educational programs, and networking opportunities, members will have meaningful ways to learn, contribute, and support one another.
WIITAD will be shaped by the women who become part of it. I invite you to join us, share your ideas, and help build a stronger future for women in ITAD.
I look forward to building this community with you.

In 2010 when I joined the ITAD industry, there weren’t 10 women at the first trade show I attended. Seeing so many women in attendance today tells me it is time to create a true collaborative community. One where we bring our common goals, our differing views and our life experiences together to create a safe place to help each other, no matter where we are in our career. We need a place come together to elevate and help each other grow.
WIITAD – Women in ITAD was created to fill this important need. With your help, we will meet this need. We have ideas, but your input and participation are necessary to make this a reality. We will offer webinars, mentoring and networking. I even had the idea of creating local chapters in larger cities. This is an opportunity to start developing or expanding your leadership skills.
Kimberly Labanauskas and I are planting the seeds. It is up to all of us, as a community to create what is needed to strengthen and grow ourselves and the industry. It needs to be collaborative, engaging and purposeful.
I look forward to supporting this in any way I am needed.
